§ 52.61. Water deposit required

  • (A) Each water consumer shall put up a meter deposit at the city office in accordance with the rates or schedules adopted by the City Council, set forth in § 52.60. Such rates and schedules are also on file in the office of the City Clerk and may be inspected by any person during ordinary and usual business hours.

    (B) The above deposits may be applied to the payment of any unpaid bills and when so used the deposits shall be restored to the original amount. Any unused portion of the deposit shall be refunded at any time the account or service is discontinued.
